Virtual Care by TDH Provider 1.14.2

This application is intended for healthcare providers licensed in the United States who provide virtual care for patients of Teladoc Health. The app assists in treating a variety of conditions, such as COVID-19 screening, allergies, arthritic pain, asthma, bronchitis, colds and flu, diarrhea, infections, insect bites, conjunctivitis, rashes, respiratory infections, sinusitis, skin inflammations, sore throats, sprains and strains, urinary tract infections, vomiting, and other non-emergency conditions.

If during the consultation the provider determines that an in-person medical examination or emergency care is necessary for treatment, they will refer the patient to the appropriate medical facility.

Providers can conduct video or phone visits with patients to record medical history, make a diagnosis, decide on medical interventions, provide work/school excuses if needed, and when medically required, prescribe medications to patients.

Visits are categorized based on clinical workscope to ensure that the appropriate level of care aligns with the provider's area of specialization. Access to the app is restricted to healthcare providers contracted with Virtual Care by TDH or representing the service, and are granted credentials by Virtual Care by TDH.

The distribution of this app through the store aims to facilitate internal and external healthcare providers in connecting with their patients for virtual care services.
